Belltone has won nine of his 29 race starts and has earned more than $497,000 in prize money during his career.

The Kelso Wood-trained gelding won his last start in the Group 3 BRC Sprint on May 18, 2013, and will be looking to do the same in the 2013 QTC Cup.

Belltone will be third-up for the winter carnival when he runs in this weekend’s race.

Also included in the 2013 QTC Cup nominations is Mahisara, who finished second to Belltone in the BRC Sprint last run.

Mahisara has won six of her 19 race starts in total and has earned more than $423,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

The More Than Ready entire’s last win came in the Group 3 Sandown Stakes last November, with the galloper having failed to win any of his four 2013 race starts.

Mahisara is trained at Scone by Paul Messara and will be having his first start at Eagle Farm since 2011, when he won the Listed Centenary Classic as a two-year-old.

Miss Stellabelle, Galah and Riva De Lago are also included in the 2013 QTC Cup nominations.
