El Roca has appeared on course just once in the last 14 months but is sure lay a great account for himself in the 2015 QTC Cup after being confirmed to be partnered by Tommy Berry.

A standout performer over the 2014 edition of the Autumn Carnival, El Roca charged home to win the Listed Eskimo Prince Stakes (1200m) first-up before running second in each of the Group 3 Liverpool City Cup (1300m) and Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m).

Returning to the paddock following a credible third in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m) and a luckless ninth in the Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m), El Roca returned following a long stint in the paddock for eleventh in the Group 1 BTC Cup (1200m) on May 9th and is sure to relish a step-back in class in the 2015 QTC Cup.

Trainer Joe Pride is set to be offered a great chance to quinella the 2015 QTC Cup after confirming leading chances Ball Of Muscle and Kuro in the final field.

Yet to finish outside the first three in 12 career starts, Ball Of Muscle was a standout over the Sydney summer; running second in the Listed Canterbury Classic (1200m) and winning the Listed Takeover Target Stakes (1200m) most notably.

Having placed second in each of the 3AW Community Raceday Handicap (1000m) and Group 2 Victory Stakes (1200m) this time, the Dubawi gelding will leave from the rails draw and will be partnered by Glyn Schofield.

Kuro is Group 1 placed, a proven performer over both track and distance and will be tough to beat in the 2015 QTC Cup.

Ending an impressive spring preparation third in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m), Kuro returned this time for third in the Listed Fireball Stakes (1100m) before placing a close second in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) on March 21st.

While luckless when eighth in the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint (1200m) on April 11th, the Denman colt charged home to win the Listed Mick Dittman Plate (1200m) on May 9th and should receive an ideal run in transit from gate 2 on Saturday.

That’s A Good Idea returned to racing for black type success a fortnight ago but will have to overcome the outside barrier 8 if to continue his run of success through the 2015 QTC Cup.

Posting eight wins and as many minors over his 27 career starts so far, That’s A Good Idea barely looked troubled when taking out the Listed Ortensia Stakes (1100m) on May 16th and is sure to be given a gem of a ride from Hugh Bowman in the QTC Cup.

Dances On Stars (barrier 7) has returned to racing in good order this time and will be joined in the 2015 QTC Cup final field by Falino (barrier 5), Office Bearer (barrier 4) and Time To Plunder (barrier 3).
